This beautiful land sometimes called The Golden Isle emerged to the public only a few hundred years ago, at a time when rumours of the ancient Lannuvári were reduced to myths and legend. There are now permanent settlements on the isle itself, made up of disciples and commoners studying to enter the ranks of the Lannuvari; tending to farms, producing goods, exploring ruins, and exporting their fine goods to lands overseas.
The island is over half pristine wilderness land, much still unexplored by the contemporary inhabitants, who have not retained all their ancestors’ knowledge of the territory. The landscape is diverse and has many particularities.

Numerous villages have developed in the Southern Coast, making the south coastal region the most populated area of the Island. Early settlers probably preferred here not only for the access to the calm Inland Sea but also because of the fertile land, rather than the infertile, steep, and difficult land in the north. The southern coast is affordable, with both pebble beaches and fine sand in the southwest. Overall the terrain is rather flat and airy, yet these plains are cultivated by many canals sourced from the Vagr River to irrigate bountiful croplands.
Traveling north the Isle becomes an inhospitable wilderness, dominated by the Lehrr Mountains in the highest northern regions, and the thick, at times almost impenetrable Old Forests of Antaar. The western and northeastern coasts are topped by high cliffs; a single city in the northeast at the glacial foothills, Mirin, represents the Island’s frontier.
To the east is the only gateway to the island, with the only real port that can accommodate commercial and passenger vessels. The reason for this is simple: all around Minyavar, an underwater fault named Opal Trench about ten kilometres from the coast creates a current so powerful that it rejects any boats trying to penetrate the island's perimeter, forming a natural protection against invaders. Through this safe passage known as Gates of Soul is found the capital and port ofWistiria, the Island’s grandest city.
In the centre of the Island sits the Hendë Valley, a circular depression surrounded by rocky spires, fed by a scenic waterfall from the northern highlands. Once fertile and flooded, the Valley now rests dry and barren. TheWatchful Eye, symbol of the Lannuvári people, floats weirdly and silently 200 meters above the Valley floor. This huge, inverted pyramid is visible to the whole Island on clear days.
